What they said about it, quarter by quarter

CapexI think the presentation that we have made in the analyst meet, if you see that, it will give you a very good idea that where we are putting the CAPEX…During the last 9 months, we have spent capex of nearly INR12,000 crores, which was the total capex that we spent in the previous financial year. So, huge capacity additions have happened, and we do expect that going forward this momentum will be continued. We have today 150GW in terms of the renewable plus non-carbon that is hydro, and we need to add 350GW in next nine years, that means nearly 40 gigawat…We have seen the government is pushing for renewable capacity addition and they recently came out with an order, whereby they are targeting to auction…So, a lot of capacity addition will happen.4,100 crores in the last quarter, and in the whole year we had a CAPEX of Rs.You mentioned in your opening remarks that the capex for the financial year has been INR130 billion.
Capital allocationSir, wanted to understand this dividend.Similarly, previous year, we had about INR311 crores of dividend to dividend from one of our foreign subsidiaries, right?—Resurgent has been awarded the LoI for acquisition of 100% stake in South East U.P.Particularly, a big amount that you see is on account of dividend from Arutmin. As a result of which we have received $90 million of dividend this year in cash. So, it's the end date of where we will divest or we will close down the plants by 2045 for all the coal-based plants where we have the PPAs.—
Costs——Because you would be sourcing some of the raw materials from there, if you can quantify?—————
Debt and cashIn spite of all this, our net debt has increased only by Rs.2,000 crores and is at a very healthy level of Rs.38,600 crores.—And to add to your question whether it is converted to cash, absolutely if you look at Quarter 3 itself, when we look at the distribution cash flows, …Post-COVID, the management had articulated plan to bring down the consolidated net debt to ₹250 billion. This is because of very healthy operating performance, equity infusion by our strategic partner, and also working capital release. My first question was on the net debt level.—In your cash flow statement, there's an item of movement in balance related to service concession agreement.
DemandOne is that the power demand in the country has grown at a very fast pace.As all of you are aware, last 9 months, the demand of power has gone up, but not to the extent what we had witnessed in the previous few years. Before I share with you some of the salient features of the quarter performance, just to give you a little background, the power demand during the Qua…As you all are aware, TPREL and its subsidiaries has an operational capacity of 3.3GW as of 31st March 2022 and has a pipeline of 1.6GW, which are in …As all of you are aware, India's power demand continues to be very, very robust. This year, for the full year, the company has now completely turned around with a very solid order book position that the company is making profits.Though in the month of April we have only seen 2% growth, we do expect that this year the peak demand will increase to something like 270 gigawatts.Similarly, in the pipeline are some of the transmission projects that we are executing as the ROW issues are resolved.
GuidanceOnce the details are out and we know exactly what sort of capacity is being envisaged, we expect a capacity addition of nearly 30 to 40 GW of rooftop …So many of these are still grey areas and we expect that in the coming months, more details will be shared at.On our distribution business, we expect that some changes will happen by way of the Electricity Act Amendment and we are expecting that once the Elect…And we expect that going forward, there will be huge amount of requirement of such retail and distributed generation opportunities in the country. And we expect that with more and more of the economic activity in the country, this will possibly get enhanced in the coming years. We expect nearly 4-gigawatt of projects that will get implemented in FY '25, out of which nearly 2.5 will be third- party and 1.5 will be our own util…And we expect that this year also the growth will be in the range of about 5%.This is meaningfully below the guidance that you had given to us in November in Odisha, which was INR250 billion.
MarginAnd similarly, our EBITDA has increased by 15% to Rs.3,250 crores. Our EBITDA for the renewable business itself has gone up by 38%.Looking at the financial performance of the Company for the quarter, we have given a very strong operational and financial performance with the EBITDA…The funds of ₹4,000 crores would be invested by a consortium led by BlackRock Real Assets along with Mubadala as co-investors at the equity base valua…Tata Power Limited May 04, 2023 Similarly, the revenue has grown in this quarter as also our EBITDA, which has increased by 38% to INR3,101 crores. They have performed at full capacity, and that is why it gets reflected in the higher revenue as well as higher EBITDA and PAT for all these businesse…Our Q4 EBITDA has also increased 14% to Rs.The quantum was INR4.6 billion in Q3. It was INR3.2 billion in Q4 at the EBITDA level and the profit level positive impacts have also been shown.
PeopleHow should we think of it, is it a function of part utilization, higher depreciation?——The merger of CGPL into Tata Power helps us to streamline the operations and have a more efficient utilization of capital across the various businesse…——My compliments on your very strong performance in the solar cell business operationally, both for very high levels of capacity utilization and the ram…—
PricingWe have essentially won two bids and I think we continue to work on further bids coming in, because as and when you develop a portfolio of bids, you'r…—So, by these phenomena, we will get highest price realization.—Okay and what is the internal expectation on the price hike?Just on another staff paper on the power market pricing.——
Revenue growth—Optically, that's correct because the top line is lower, but the profitability still continues to be there.—The funds raised will be used exclusively for the growth of green company and will allow us to scale up this platform. .r.—And in the renewable, EBITDA, profit growth was in single digits.Last year the growth of power demand for the whole year has been nearly 5%, and in the March quarter it was nearly 4%.—
